Goran Stojadinovic (Serbia): Fisarmonica, Hammond, Piano el., voce…
Angelo Quatrale (Italia): Contrabbasso, Basso elettrico e voce
Ilir Kryekurti (Albania): Batteria, Percussioni
Luana Zanetti: (Svizzera): Voce

Marco Zappa
DESCRIPTION

Since he started performing as a student in 1967, Marco Zappa has always been interested to discover and learn about different musical cultures and traditions. Focusing on human values, like respect and tolerance, he has built new forms of cooperation and a varied and original musical texture. It is always true that a spontaneous musical idea originates from the combination of many emotive, psychological, rational and irrational factors. Melodies, harmonies, music/text interaction, adaptation, the use of dialects, and the mastery of so many instruments, are the results of a dense network of competence and experience and they mirror the strong personality, and the great sensibility, of this artist. Underpinning everything is the voyage, intended by Marco Zappa as vocation, transformation and pilgrimage; voyage as a metaphor for the creative process.

Always, alongside his own compositions, Marco has experienced new and personal interpretations of the Beatles from which has been heavily influenced. To these he has dedicated the CD “Tribute To GeorgeHarrison” (2002) and also the double CD “Yesterday Beatles Today” (2010) both already presented to International Beatleweek in Liverpool.

This year Marco, will be performing with several musicians as a Duo, Trio and in full band line-ups.
